My story

For years, I had struggled with my health.  It took a million hospital appointment and more than enough blood taken, to finally get diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).  Along with this I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis.  Through my journey I have had a lot of ups and downs.  I've had to walk with a stick when things were really bad and I have recently had two total knee replacements, due to the severity of the damage to my knees, which has been a total game changer BUT there is always a struggle.  

I am now determined to start living my life to the full again, but to do this I need to take back control of my health and this blog will follow that journey and hopefully help hold me accountable.  I also want this blog to help raise awareness of Lupus and the impact it can have a persons day to day life.
